Qualsafe Level 3 First Aid At Work

This three-day, face-to-face course has been designed to accommodate those appointed to act as a First Aider in their workplace or have a specific responsibility to provide First Aid.

This HSE-compliant qualification includes practical and written assessments, with certification valid for three years. Learners cover various topics, including CPR and the safe use of an AED for adults, children, and infants; casualty management; trauma care; medical emergencies; record-keeping; and infection prevention. Emergency First Aid At Work Certification (EFAW)

This one-day course meets the minimum HSE requirements for low-risk settings and is perfect for those with a specific responsibility at work to provide basic first aid.

Assessment is through practical observation and a short written test, with certification valid for three years. Training covers primary survey, adult CPR and AED use, choking response, bleeding control, burns, shock, recovery position, accident reporting and infection prevention.

QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid

This 2-day, 12- hours course meets Ofsted and EYFS requirements for childcare registration. Assessment includes practical tasks and a short written test, with certification valid for three years. The syllabus covers infant and child CPR and AED use, choking, seizures, allergic reactions, asthma, diabetes, fractures, burns, poisoning, head and eye injuries, illness recognition, auto-injector EPIPEN use, documentation and effective communication with parents.
